I can SO relate to that... Going with public transport costs me twice as much as driving over (even with the current gas prices) and at least 3 times as long to get there... and 1,000 times more annoyance...

£2 for a train ticket?!?!?! That wouldn't get me out of the city on the bus...
I often wonder about those people that use public transport to commute. Here in Holland they pay you extra if you have to travel more than 9km to work.
