There is something to be said for the great british curry. It makes the no.1 spot on BBC's 100 Things list!
They even managed to get an "only in America..." in at no.23, followed closely by France and Canada at no.27. Subpoena a dog? Under 18s banned from using sunbeds?
There is statistics about how far parking attendants walk each day, how many minutes British passengers waited for delayed trains in 2004, and the hotter it is, the more difficult it is for aeroplanes to take off. So a little like the trains: The wrong type of heat, or snow, or leafs on the runway...

Anway, glad to read you had a good Christmas.... I was thinking of doing the present thing on Christmas Eve and then sleeping in on the day itself but as teenage daughter was going out the night before I wasn't going to do the present thing and then have her swan off, so we didn't!
