Appropriate outfit

When there's a heatwave you will often see men who have shed their T-shirts. However, this may be appropriate attire for the beach it is not as appropriate for the highstreet or the supermarket, but you still see it.

As a woman I would never go topless to the supermarket, or down the highstreet, but then I would not want anyone, male or otherwise to go topless down the highstreet, and especially not the supermarket, but for some reason it seems to be appropriate behavior... for men.

It is, however, inappropriate for young women and the police will intervene.

For their own safety off course!

Equal rights for women!

I personally think all women should wander the streets topless. It just makes good sense. :)

I totally agree with denotsko, female nudity is clearly a path our society needs to take.

In England, whenever there is a break in the crowds people start stripping off, purely because it's not cold for once. If there's less than 15 clouds in the sky, you can guarantee to see at least 3 shirtless men walking around. And they're always flabby and old, it's not good.

I think it's not only unnaceptable, it's a sign of machoism, and that ain't nice to see when you're eyeing up 'husband material' :)

Flabby old women walking around topless would be worse than the flabby old men...

I think women could go topless if they had a license to do so, and I am willing to work in the department that hands those licenses out. Its a dirty job but someone has to do it.
